This seft-portrait series are personal studies of boredom or indifference despite having the amenities we take for granted in the modern developed world. Each scene of the narrative consists of an audio, visual and/or physical activity punctuated by a silence.

Inspired by a three week cross country roadtrip I took alone, when I moved from North Carolina to San Francisco in the summer of 2003, I did an illustration series exploring the raw emotion I felt of feeling free almost to the point of abandon.
